Slumbook

I was sitting on my arm chair, joking with my classmate Gracielle when Clare suddenly laid out a cute notebook in front of me and told me to fill the questions with my answers, it was a slumbook. I know, wa na sa uso, but I answered it wholeheartedly. Before filling the blank lines, I secretly skimmed through the previously filled pages by my friends. And then I saw my name next to this question “What is, by far, the best moment of your life?” and you know what my friend’s answer was? “Nun naglakad kami ni Nise from school to capitol tapos kumain kami ng isaw.”

I didn’t know what to feel. It’s nice to know that she actually appreciates the little efforts that I give her. Hay, it really is the simple things that make people happy. And this made me more than happy. Mehehhehehe korni ko. Siguro wa na siyang masagot kaya yan nalang but still, of all the great moments in her life she chose our moment? Now, that’s something.
